Meet Our New Home

Four Brix Winery is proud to call the City of San Buenaventura the city of our future home. The City is rich in history starting with Mission San Buenaventura in 1782, and today has become one of the premiere vacation areas along the California Coast.

The City has a vibrant Downtown District full of fine shopping, art galleries, and great restaurants. In fact, a few wine bars have already started featuring our wines, including Paradise Pantry. And let us not forget the beaches famous for surfing, fishing, or just relaxing in the warm sun along the California Central Coast.

Highlighted by several festivals during the year, Ventura is the host city for Westside ArtWalk, the Ventura County Fair, and the Parade of Lights at Ventura Harbor.

Such an impressive City, the Brix Heads are thrilled that the City has approved our request to open a processing and tasting room in the heart of Ventura. Located at 2290 Eastman Avenue, 109, Ventura, CA 93003, we plan to combine our tasting room and production facility under one roof. This area is already home to Ventura Wine Company/The Cave, and just recently, Surf Brewery. Our hope is to add to the already popular culture of the area by providing tours of our processing facility, including barrel sampling of wines before they are bottled and released, and pouring our current release vintages in our tasting room.

The Brix Heads are ecstatic about this next chapter for Four Brix! Please sign up on our mailing list for the announcement of our Grand Opening in San Buenaventura California.

Cheers,
Noonan, Simonsgaard, and Stewart Families

About The Wine Closet:
We’re very grateful to live on the Central Coast of California and although I’m a California native, Rob transplanted 10 years ago from Rhode Island in search of warmer surf and landed in Ventura. It wasn’t soon thereafter we began experiencing the benefits of living in an area where some of the best wines in the world are produced. Never did we believe our love of wine would lead us to give up a career in Corporate America and join forces in the search for great wine…not too different then the surfer forever searching for the perfect wave I think.

After many, many wines later, we launched this website – starting with just over a dozen California hand-crafted wines from small production, family-owned vineyards from up and down this beautiful coast. We’re now 150 labels strong with a few import wines added to our collection. Our goal is to find those special wines, gems as I like to call them, of the highest quality wines, each one hand-selected with care, and share them with you…our friends, family and fellow wine lovers. Our selection is small, but we’re always up for the challenge of finding special request wine for those who ask.  So drop us a line at sales@wineclosetinc.com and let us know what your favorite wine is.

Cheers!
Rob, Linda, Kona and Lily
