Tasting Notes

At first glance you see a bright raspberry color.  As you swirl, Intense fruit flavors are led by strawberry, followed by watermelon, yet it is made in the French Provence style, completely dry.  Well-structured and balanced with a lingering finish.  Great by itself by the pool, and holds up well with food. Cheers!


Grapes were handpicked into ½ ton picking bins; clusters were sorted by hand before being de-stemmed. Under-ripe and damaged fruit were removed during the sorting process. All grapes entered the open-top bins as crushed berries. Grapes allowed to stay in contact with the skins for three days to allow a hint of ripe tannins and flavors from the skins. Malolactic fermentation was not allowed to take place preserving the acidity.
